Are you ready to lead our Broker Partnerships strategy at Suncorp Bank? We're seeking a dynamic senior leader to drive growth in home lending while delivering outstanding service to our brokers, aggregators and customers alike.

As the Head of Broker Partnerships, you'll spearhead the design and execution of our strategy to maximize market opportunities and create value from new and existing partnerships. Your role will be pivotal in nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring we maintain our position as a leader in the financial services industry.

This highly visible role reports directly to the Executive General Manager. As a key liaison between operational execution and strategic direction, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape critical decisions that impact our Broker Partnerships on a national scale.

What you’ll do :

  • Drive the design and implementation of the Broker Partnerships strategy to support Suncorp Bank’s growth in home lending, ensuring exceptional service delivery to brokers and customers
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities within our Broker Partnerships Channel.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, serving as the face of our broker channel.
  • Lead a dedicated team of business development managers, empowering them to achieve exceptional customer and broker outcomes.
  • Uphold rigorous risk and governance standards for the Broker Partnerships business.
  • Collaborate effectively across business units to align strategic goals and drive impactful outcomes.

What you’ll bring :

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent field.
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services, Banking, and Mortgage Broking.
  • Proven track record with 10+ years of commercial experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry, including 7 years in sales and 5 years in sales management.
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and planning skills to execute our Intermediaries strategy effectively.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on coaching and developing team members to excel in their roles.
  • Strategic mindset with a knack for driving profitable growth and enhancing customer acquisition and experience.
  • Ability to innovate and challenge existing processes to achieve creative solutions.
  • Strong existing industry relationships across the broker market.
