Job Description

We are seeking a volunteer with a passion to give back to the community by visiting an elderly lady living at home in Long Jetty. Our client would like to meet someone to visit her who also loves a good conversation and a cuppa.

The ACVVS program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in the Central Coast.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

Requirements

18 years or older

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30 minute visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
