Resort General Manager – Club Wyndham Dunsborough

An extraordinary opportunity for a professional and experienced leader, to join our idyllic Western Australian Resort as the new Resort General Manger. This rare opportunity is suited to a dynamic, driven and customer experience focused leader, who thrives on creating truly memorable experiences.

Club Wyndham Dunsborough Resort is an outstanding resort that has just completed a $5 million dollar refurbishment of the guest rooms. Nestled between the towns Busselton and Dunsborough, Western Australia, this slice of paradise is beach front, and is the gateway to the Margaret River wine trail.

The resort offers a year-round heated swimming pool, Spa, Tennis Court, BBQ area, Toby’s Restaurant and Bar, Wedding Chapel, Conference rooms and 83 beautifully appointed Hotel and 1- and 2-Bedroom Apartments, surrounded by magnificent gardens and immaculately manicured lawns.

What we are looking for in our Resort Manager

• Full Australian working rights and currently reside in Australia.
• Ability to formulate an overall operational strategy, whilst overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Resort and all departments.
• Strong background in management of facility and assets.
• Strong understanding of Food and Beverage operations.
• People management in recruiting, driving, and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team-culture, including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching, mentoring and development.
• Proven ability to create memorable experiences.
• Financial management acumen.
• Project management skills, to undertake your vision for the Resort and to ultimately provide an unforgettable experience for guests.
• Employee engagement skills and the ability to motivate your team.
• Resort manager who loves having fun with our guests and prefer being with the team and guests and not in an office.
