Dunsborough Primary School (PS) are seeking a high performing, organised Deputy Principal to join their friendly team. Dependant on the skills of the successful applicant, there will be a teaching component to the role.

As an integral member of the leadership group, in collaboration with the Principal and other members of the leadership team, the Deputy Principal at Dunsborough PS will lead school development initiatives by promoting the school’s vision and building the capacity of staff through effective change management processes.

The successful applicant should ideally have exceptional interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, innovative, collaborative and organised. A positive attitude and the ability to anticipate and adapt to change, show initiative, be flexible and problem solve solutions are important elements of the role of Deputy Principal at this school so that together, we can provide an exceptional learning environment for our students.

  • Excellent curriculum knowledge, including experience in leading a connected approach to pedagogical practices using Department of Education endorsed, evidence-based strategies, particularly in the Early Years
  • Expertise in developing and leading high impact teaching, learning and assessment strategies that support teacher efficacy.
  • Outstanding knowledge and skills in leading and supporting the development and embedding of collaborative teams
  • Dunsborough Primary School currently has 720 students, with 30 classrooms and a large supportive, committed, and dedicated staff.
