As a Account Manager , you’ll be at the forefront of promoting microbiology solutions, building strong relationships with both established clients and new prospects. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive growth by actively promoting and selling innovative microbiology solutions to both loyal clients and fresh prospects across your territory
- Keep your CRM system sharp and insightful
- Stay ahead of the curve with deep product knowledge and ongoing training across your assigned portfolio
- Craft and execute a strategic territory plan that ensures consistent, high-value engagement with all accounts
- Own your quarterly territory strategy—identify opportunities, build winning sales plans, and deliver results
- Be the face of the business at customer meetings, industry conferences, and networking events—build trust, spark interest, and showcase solutions
- Lead impactful customer appointments, including confident cold outreach that opens doors and builds relationships
- Deliver compelling product demos and provide hands‑on training and support to ensure customer success
- Scout the market—leverage industry publications and media to uncover new business opportunities
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions that solve real problems and add measurable value
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and exceptional customer experiences
- Represent your region at sales meetings—share insights, learn from peers, and contribute to broader strategy
- Take initiative and ownership of additional responsibilities that support team and business goals
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field—bonus points if you’ve specialised in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or similar disciplinesYears of hands‑on experience in sales, customer service, or account development, with a proven track record of building client relationships and driving resultsA flexible mindset—equivalent combinations of education and experience are absolutely welcomeConfidence with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plusExcellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit—you thrive in team environments and know how to connect with customersDURATION
