The Role : This is not your average junior solicitor job.

You will work side-by-side with our Principal Solicitor on real, high-stakes matters.

Expect to be in court, engage directly with clients, and play an active role in advancing cases.

This is a role for someone who's ready to get into the thick of it, not sit behind a desk all day.

What You'll Be Doing : Drafting court documents, affidavits, subpoenas, correspondence, and briefs Attending and instructing in court - including mentions, hearings, and final matters Working closely on complex litigation, particularly in family and criminal law Managing file progression, with increasing responsibility over time Liaising with clients, barristers, expert witnesses, and court staff Contributing to legal strategy, evidence preparation, and case planning What We're Looking For : Admission (or pending admission) as a solicitor in NSW 1–2 minimum years post-admission experience (graduates with clerkship or PLT experience encouraged to apply) Demonstrated interest in family law and / or litigation Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong emotional intelligence - you can work sensitively with vulnerable clients Professional presentation and high personal accountability Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines A team player who thrives in fast-moving legal environments What You'll Get at Tee Legal : Unmatched exposure to serious litigation and courtroom practice Hands-on mentorship directly from our Principal Solicitor A culture that rewards initiative, grit, and legal excellence Career progression opportunities as the firm expands Autonomy and responsibility as soon as you're ready for it A supportive team environment that values resilience, loyalty and performance Ideal Candidates May Have : Experience or internships across family law, criminal law, or general litigation Court exposure or advocacy training through clerkships, PLT or mooting A passion for social justice, advocacy, and high-stakes legal work A desire to grow with a boutique firm and contribute long-term #J-18808-Ljbffr
