In this role, you’ll be :
Collaborating with Agile development teams and product owners to define and refine technical requirements for payment products, including real-time payments, card processing, digital wallets, and merchant integrations.Documenting detailed functional and technical specifications, including API contracts, data schemas, and integration flows across microservices, with a strong understanding of payment gateways, transaction lifecycles, and settlement processes.Performing data analysis using SQL and MongoDB to support reconciliation, fraud detection, and performance monitoring across payment systems.Using Postman and similar tools to test and validate APIs, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable data exchange between internal systems and external payment providers.Maintaining structured documentation in Confluence, and managing delivery pipelines and sprint progress through Jira, ensuring traceability and transparency across stakeholders.Working with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, compliance, fraud, and external partners, to ensure technical feasibility and regulatory alignment of payment solutions.What we need from you
Ability to understand complex financial business objectives and translate them into clear, technically sound requirements, particularly in the context of payment systems and digital financial services.Proven experience working across multiple teams—product, engineering, compliance, and external partners—to gather stakeholder input, validate solutions, and ensure technical changes are well‑communicated and understood across impacted areas.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of data flows, system integrations, and transaction lifecycles.Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast‑paced Agile environment, contributing proactively to solution design and delivery.Ability to research, evaluate, and recommend best practices for financial technology processes, with a focus on secure, scalable, and compliant payment solutions.Your experience and knowledge
Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience in Fintech or financial services.Strong aptitude for translating business goals into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and data models that can be implemented by development teams.Hands‑on experience creating business requirements documents, API specifications, functional design documents, and test plans—especially for payment systems and financial integrations.Proficiency with tools such as Postman (for API testing), SQL (for data analysis), Jira (for Agile delivery), and Confluence (for documentation) .Exposure to microservices architecture, MongoDB, and secure payment technologies (e.g., PCI‑DSS, ISO 20022, tokenization, fraud detection systems) is recommended.Prior experience in software development or engineering is a strong advantage, enabling deeper collaboration with technical teams and more effective solution design.Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, with a strong understanding of CI / CD pipelines and iterative delivery models.Monoova Culture and Benefits
