You have a solid track record as a senior civil engineer in urban and / or land development including civil works. If you are not satisfied with your career progression where you are now and desire the next step, this interesting 2IC role under the civil manager is definitely the answer as you take the lead in the office and handle the management of several interesting projects at once.

Part of the goal is to further free up the civil manager to benefit from his strengths in client development. He is certainly an impressive leader where you will no doubt reap the benefits of his outstanding mentorship style.
