About the Role

We have an opportunity for an Electrical / Fitter Mechanic to join our Electrical Integrity team. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Primary Distribution, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable, and Sustainable vision by :

  • Ensuring all work complies with site health, environmental, and community policies, systems, and procedures
  • Performing planned and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including high voltage repairs
  • Diagnosing issues and recommending repairs
  • Completing hazardous area and gas system installation and maintenance work
  • Improving plant stability by identifying and eliminating equipment failures and promoting safety culture

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Industrial High Voltage qualifications and experience
  • Exposure to Bailey DCS systems and hazardous area work is desirable
  • Experience with VSDs, DCS logic, electronic relays, and complex circuit fault-finding is highly regarded
  • Experience with cathodic protection systems and gas systems is beneficial
  • A positive, motivated attitude and ability to work safely both independently and in a team
