About the Role
We have an opportunity for an Electrical / Fitter Mechanic to join our Electrical Integrity team. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Primary Distribution, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable, and Sustainable vision by :
Ensuring all work complies with site health, environmental, and community policies, systems, and proceduresPerforming planned and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including high voltage repairsDiagnosing issues and recommending repairsCompleting hazardous area and gas system installation and maintenance workImproving plant stability by identifying and eliminating equipment failures and promoting safety cultureCandidate Requirements
Current Queensland Electrical LicenceDemonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic skillsIndustrial High Voltage qualifications and experienceExposure to Bailey DCS systems and hazardous area work is desirableExperience with VSDs, DCS logic, electronic relays, and complex circuit fault-finding is highly regardedExperience with cathodic protection systems and gas systems is beneficialA positive, motivated attitude and ability to work safely both independently and in a teamBenefits
