The Threatened Species Operations, Networks and Partnerships Team are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Conservation Officer to manage the Threatened Species Prioritisation Framework project, which will include maintaining and updating underpinning datasets, managing the Threatened Species Decision Tool, training users and consulting with stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to play a critical part in implementing and maintaining a framework to guide threatened species investment and recovery actions across Queensland. Additionally, you will contribute to the delivery of strategic, evidence-based projects as part of the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation’s Threatened Species Program, driving meaningful outcomes for biodiversity conservation in Queensland.
