About UsBrockman Community House is a not-for-profit, community-based Neighbourhood Centre, Childcare, and Out of School Hours Care service, catering for up to 92 children since 1986. We are currently seeking passionate and Qualified Educators to join our team. Our centre is run by a dedicated Management Committee and professional staff, focused on providing high-quality, inclusive education and care.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and delivering curriculum based on the centre's philosophies and national standards.
- Create engaging learning environments that promote child-directed learning.
- Support the development of strategies to guide children's behaviour.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Observe and document children's growth and development.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment.
- Embrace new and innovative ideas in early childhood education.
- Essential Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or working towards.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate.
- Strong commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality care.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education or Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
