Responsibilities
- Respond to general client enquiries via phone, email and in person. Assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested.
- Register patient data onto relevant electronic databases and ensure patient data is updated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Actively support the use of telecommunication technologies for the purpose of providing health care services across geographic, social and cultural barriers.
- Ensure prospective patients have been placed on a respective waiting list, booked within the time frame indicated, and maintain this list by ensuring accurate and complete additions, amendments, ongoing verification and appropriate delegations
- Organise patient appointment activities including the arrival of patients, booking appointments, management of cancellation / rescheduling of clinics, management of clinic waiting lists and coordinating appointments with other services.
About You
Experience and demonstrated achievement in similar roles.Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities in a team environment to meet deadlines, and to be flexible in a changing work environment.Ability in the use of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant software packages (e.g. ieMR, Medi Records, ESM, HBCIS).Mandatory Requirements
