The Clinical Midwife (CM) – Caseload role provides expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for women and babies with a variety of health care needs and supports a safe care environment through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based woman and baby focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management. In addition, the CM will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), and other non-registered personnel in more complex situations.
