Commercial Kitchen Hand - Part-Time (3 Days per Week)

Location: Clayton

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, equipment and surfaces
• Lifting, moving and storing floor mats; keeping work areas clean and safe
• Assisting with basic food preparation - washing, peeling, chopping (knife skills ideal)
• Correctly handling and storing stock across fridges, freezers and cool rooms
• Safely disposing of kitchen waste
• Storing equipment in designated areas
• Retrieving items for chefs and assisting with simple cooking, reheating, plating and serving
• Operating commercial kitchen appliances safely and efficiently
• General kitchen duties as required

What You'll Need

• Food Safety Handling Certificate (must provide proof)
• Previous experience in a commercial-grade kitchen (essential)
• Ability to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Reliable car and ability to attend all rostered shifts
• Availability for 3 days per week
