The Opportunity

Join Wales Bus at our dynamic smash repair facility in Smithfield! We’re looking for an experienced Body Builder to bring their expertise to our team. In this hands-on role, you'll shape and restore heavy vehicle exteriors, playing a key part in delivering high-quality results and advancing automotive excellence.

Role responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage to determine restoration procedures
• Ensure chassis straightening is properly maintained and used appropriately
• Handle company equipment with respect, similar to personal tools
• Inform Parts Interpreter of any additional parts needed beyond the original estimate
• Coordinate with workshop colleagues to optimize workflow
• Report any product shortages that could impact production
• Monitor daily schedules to meet timeframes
