As a Membership and Ticketing Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of of the ACT Brumbies business operations, working closely with the Customer Engagement Manager and the Head of Marketing & Consumer. This role is ideal for someone with customer service experience (minimum 1 year) looking to make their mark in the sports world.
Job Overview :
The Membership and Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Customer Engagement Manager to facilitate all membership and ticketing functions within the business.
This includes, but is not limited to coordinating the day-to-day administration requirements of membership, ensure all home game tickets are made available for public sale, all ticketing entitlements and requests are delivered on (e.g. staff, player, sponsor tickets) and facilitating outbound sales campaigns.
In addition, the role plays a key part in working with our membership partners (TPF and Ticketmaster), ensuring membership renewals and sales run successfully, managing communications with our membership base, supporting marketing strategies to increase membership retention and overall numbers, and representing the club at membership events and game day.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Membership
- Supporting the delivery of a high-quality membership program with a focus on value and member satisfaction.
- Assisting the Customer Engagement Manager and our stakeholders with the end-to-end membership build process to ensure the following years membership renewals open in October of each year (at the latest).
- Update and maintain the membership database, ensuring a high level of data integrity.
- Recover outstanding membership payments and resolve issues with accounts regarding billing.
- Managing communications and relationships with our membership base via outbound and inbound calls, email, SMS and in person.
- Contributing to innovative thinking around membership products, services, communications, and promotions.
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of fan and member only events.
- Supporting the Customer Engagement Manager with relationship management with key ticketing, membership, and fulfillment suppliers.
- Support and drive membership growth through outbound sales campaigns and in person promotional activity.
- Assisting in maintaining the internship program and casual staff.
Ticketing
Assisting the Customer Engagement Manager with the public ticketing build for all Brumbies home games.Ensuring match day ticketing needs are met for members, sponsors, marketing, and team members.Assist with the management of the box office for all Brumbies home games (including trials, regular season & finals).Assist with the management of gates for John I Dent Cup finals games (where required) as well as other ACT Brumbies events.Providing ad hoc reporting as requested by the Customer Engagement Manager and Head of Marketing & Consumer.Marketing
Creating ad-hoc outbound member communications (email).Assisting in the promotion of membership and ticketing.Conducting market research for best practice in membership and ticketing.Other duties as required.Desirable Criteria
