Position Description
Our Supervisors take pride in serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results. The position is responsible for ensuring customers are served in a professional and timely manner, including exercising patron care. The role is responsible for supervising one or more other restaurant staff at any one time and for training staff at a lower level.
- supervision, training and coordination of food and beverage employees
- monitoring staff rosters, performance and resolving any grievances
- preparing displays and presenting stock, including specials
- maintain stock control and quality
- practicing proper workplace health and safety procedures
- communicate effectively with customers and fellow staff
- respond to customer requests in a professional and timely manner
- promote the employer’s services and facilities to the customers when
- appropriate
- Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll.
- assist in maintaining customer services standards set by the employer
- ensure that work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness
- ensure that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner
- Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the restaurant
- Assist with COGS reporting and analysis
Position Skills & Attributes :

Previous supervisor experience minimum 1 yearCert 4 or higher in Hospitality or relative sector.Effective communication skillsRostering and administration experience (COGS reporting, wastage control, stock take) preferred.Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant– focused on exceptional customer service, working together, helping those in need and making Zambrero an enjoyable place to work
