The Opportunity

Are you ready to kickstart your pharmacy career? Join the dynamic team at Slade Pharmacy's flagship store, located at the front of Epworth Richmond Hospital; Australia's largest private hospital. Our state-of-the-art pharmacy offers both hospital and community pharmacy services, including a cutting-edge compounding site.

As a pharmacy student, you will have the chance to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Experience the full spectrum of pharmacy services all at one site - from retail to multidisciplinary hospital care, and specialize in clinical, oncology, and compounding.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers.
  • Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients.
  • Assist with inventory management and imprest tasks.
  • Support medication delivery and collection in hospital wards.
  • Complete data entry of patient specific information into databases.
  • Assist with patient account enquiries.
  • Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees.
  • Assist the pharmacy teams complete administrative and record keeping duties.

    • About You

  • Passionate about making a positive impact on patients' lives.
  • Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in using FRED dispense and familiar with the PBS.
  • Customer-focused with a solid understanding of Point-of-Sale Systems.

  • Experience in an Australian pharmacy setting is required.
