Role Overview
The EPP Clinical Manager will oversee the development and provision of high‑quality evidence‑based clinical services for young people aged 14‑25 experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis (FEP) or Ultra‑High Risk (UHR) of psychosis. The incumbent will lead a multidisciplinary team of 5‑10 staff.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison and review processes.Provide clinical leadership and ensure service delivery meets evidence‑based standards.Plan and manage service operations, including strategic and clinical planning.Support staff clinical teaching and competency development.Implement evidence‑based research into practice.Maintain clinical service quality, change management, and organisational improvement.Travel to other SESLHD MHS sites as required.Qualifications & Experience
Registered professional (Clinical Nurse Consultant, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker) with appropriate NSW registration.Minimum 5 years of full‑time equivalent post‑qualification experience in mental health (for nursing).Proven clinical leadership and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.Advanced mental health assessment and treatment skills, including family interventions.Evidence‑based practice implementation experience.Strategic service planning and change management knowledge.Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel.Benefits
