Selection Criteria
Social Worker or Occupational Therapist qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, current full registration with AHPRA and / or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Psychologist with a four year degree in psychology and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA).Demonstrated core competency skills in mental health rehabilitation and demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate individual and group clinical rehabilitation services, e.g. Living skills assessment and training, vocational interventions, health promotion and education, motivational interviewing and psychological strategies.Demonstrated commitment to a strengths and consumer focused, recovery oriented approach, practice rehabilitation principles, current models of practice and associated interventions to support a person's recovery.Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients / clients to enhance service delivery, promote community linkage and partnership building.Demonstrated ability to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.Current NSW Driver's license.Need more information?
