Our client is a very successful and growing MSP based in Brisbane.

The Presales Solutions Consultant / Engineer is a newly created addition to an existing pre‑sales team

This full‑time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sales success through expert pre‑sales support and solution consulting revolving around managed IT services and technical pre‑sales.

In this role, you will play a key role in assisting the sales team deliver high‑value technology‑based customer solution.

Key responsibilities include delivering compelling demonstrations and presentations, consulting with customers to understand their needs and leveraging deep functional expertise to increase customer usage of existing products and services.

You will also engage in documentation activities such as solution proposals, work briefs, and project plans, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of products and services.

Success in this role requires technical knowledge across infrastructure solutions, experience with cloud software and managed IT services, and the ability to develop practical solutions communicated effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

The role demands excellent stakeholder management, multitasking abilities, and collaborative skills to contribute to solution design alongside the Technical Services Team.

Key Skills

A relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience, along with industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, ITIL), and business analysis or project management training will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will also hold a current Australian Driver’s License and vehicle, and be prepared to meet vaccination requirements aligned with health safety policies.

This is a unique step‑up opportunity for someone already in technical pre‑sales or maybe working in a sys admin role for an MSP / systems integrator / professional services, and wanting to move into technical pre‑sales.
