About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to manage a portfolio of complex litigation matters from instruction through to resolution, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firm’s growth.

Reporting to the Partners, your responsibilities will include :

  • Draft pleadings, legal documents, correspondence, and detailed written advice.
  • Conduct negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions with clients and opposing parties.
  • Appear in court independently or alongside counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Provide strategic legal and commercial advice while mentoring junior team members.
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

    • About You

    The successful candidate will have :

  • Admission as a Solicitor in Australia with a current unrestricted practising certificate
  • Minimum of 4 years post‑admission experience in civil and commercial litigation
  • Experience in insurance litigation, recoveries, motor claims, demurrage, or property damage
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Strong commercial acumen with a client‑focused mindset
  • Proven ability to manage a team and supervise legal matters effectively
