What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit have a casual opportunity for experienced HC Drivers join our team located in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering single container loads with a variety of freight from major customers. We currently have a casual opportunity working Monday – Friday on afternoon shift commencing at 3 : 30pm – 11 : 30pm + potential overtime.

• Deliver containerised freight both locally and throughout the region.
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interior.
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Occasional reach stacker operation to transport containers around the Linfox yard
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed
• Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus
