About The Role
This position is responsible for managing a network of vehicle dealerships engaged to deliver new and used vehicle and transfer of registration services to customers. The role will build effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and industry groups.
We are seeking a strategic and adaptable leader with proven experience in delivering complex programs, managing large-scale partner networks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and performance standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills, with the ability to drive strategic outcomes, foster collaboration, and deliver business improvements in a dynamic environment. The incumbent will have staff reporting from two locations (Ringwood and Sunshine) and will be required to visit occasionally.

Pre‑employment Checks and Employment Conditions
All new appointments to the department will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check, Misconduct Screening and a Qualification Check where there is a requirement for a mandatory qualification. Information provided to the Department of Transport and Planning will be treated in the strictest confidence consistent with the requirements of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position. Recipients of Victorian Public Service (VPS) voluntary departure packages should note that re‑employment restrictions apply. Non‑VPS applicants will be subject to a probation period of six months.
