Psychologist – Temporary Full Time (Temporary Parental Leave Relief)

Location : Illawarra Community Mental Health Service, Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, Australia

Salary : $77,358 - $113,226 per annum + 12% super & salary packaging

Employment period : Until 18 July 2027 Applications close : 24 October 2025

We are looking for a psychologist to join the Acute Care Team and provide mental health care coordination for consumers in the Illawarra Community Mental Health Service. This temporary parental leave relief position supports recovery and quality‑of‑life goals for mental health consumers. This role is a temporary assessment that may be extended.

Responsibilities

  • Support recovery and quality of life goals for mental health consumers.
  • Provide acute care and care coordination in line with the Acute Care Team’s protocols.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic services.
  • Assist in developing and implementing care plans.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
