Media and Communications Advisor

Our client is a dynamic local council committed to strengthening and supporting the local community through exceptional service delivery and meaningful engagement. Working within the Strategic Communications team, this position plays a vital role in shaping and sharing Council's story with residents, media and key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Manager Strategic Communications, the Media and Communications Advisor coordinates and delivers Council's internal and external communications, media relations and social media initiatives. You'll collaborate across departments to craft compelling messages, manage media enquiries, and drive brand reputation through strategic communication.

• Contract November - February with the potential for extension / permanent transition
