Lecturer Nursing

12 month appointment pool, with one permanent, full-time position for immediate filling.

We are looking to establish a pool of qualified and experienced people interested in employment as a Lecturer Nursing . Appointments from the pool will be made on a temporary or permanent basis at either full-time, part-time or on a casual basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise until 17 October 2026.

About the role

The lecturer’s primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake professional activities and activities related to delivery. Lecturers must keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.

Qualifications

The successful applicant must meet the following qualifications :

• Registered Nurse (current AHPRA registration) and Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position, with ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
• Minimum VET credential of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110) or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019 or TAESS00024).
• Applicants without the required VET credential may apply; successful candidates must be enrolled and complete the credential within two years from commencement.
