Senior Paid Media Manager

I’m recruiting on behalf of a high-performing agency based in North Sydney that partners with some of Australia’s biggest B2C names across industries like property development, legal, and industrial services. This isn’t a retail or D2C environment; it’s a professional, strategic space where the work is deep, not high-volume, and where performance marketing plays a central role in long-term client success.

They’re looking for a Senior Paid Performance Manager to lead media strategy and execution across a small portfolio of retained clients. These are high-value accounts with significant budgets, and they require someone who not only understands media buying but can operate at a strategic, commercial level.

The internal team includes senior strategists, account leads, and execs, all collaborative, focused, and low-ego. It’s a workplace for professionals who show up, do great work, and want to make meaningful contributions.

Job Responsibilities

• Take ownership of paid media campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Manage and optimise mid-to-high six-figure budgets
• Align creative and messaging to the funnel stage and client goals
• Collaborate with the executive team and two senior strategists on client direction
• Present strategic updates and campaign insights directly to senior stakeholders
• Oversee 4–6 retained B2C clients in professional services, (no D2C, no retail)
• Deliver work, not just delegate; you’ll be hands-on

What They’re Looking For

• 6+ years in paid performance, ideally in an agency or consulting environment
• Proven experience working with large, complex B2C clients in professional services (e.g. property, legal, and industrial sectors)
• Hands-on experience with media buying, optimisation, and reporting
• A commercial mindset with confidence in client-facing conversations
• Professional, and values-driven

Additional Information

• $120,000 - $125,000 + super
• (North Sydney), Hybrid
• Team of strategists, executives & account support
