The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel is looking for a Storeperson to join our team based in Marsden Park. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally   recognised brands.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor youll play an important part in our warehouse operations performing a range of tasks including loading and unloading products on and off trucks picking and packing as well as general despatch / warehouse duties.

We currently have multiple full time permanent positions within our day shift team who work our night shift roster Sunday Thursday 11pm to 7 am   offering a great work life balance.

You dont have to come from a steel background. Full training will be provided as part of the comprehensive induction program and ongoing support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities. What Will You Do

You will learn and be responsible for receiving and storing materials assembling and loading orders and dispatch duties you will also :

  • safely load and unload trucks and customer pickups
  • operate forklifts cranes and other processing machinery and equipment
  • pick and pack from stock onsite to create orders
  • be responsible for the safety of yourself and your coworkers
  • ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels
