About The Role

The Support Worker plays a vital role in fostering a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for individuals living with disabilities, children, and young people in the care of Allambi Care. Through tailored person-centred active support, this role empowers participants and young people, including those with complex needs, to develop daily living skills, engage in community activities, and build their capacity for greater independence and inclusivity, ultimately helping them achieve their goals.

Your Daily Tasks

• Build a relationship with the people you are caring for.
• Provide care to participants, following a routine developed specifically in consultation with the participants and their needs, including personal, medication and domestic care.
• Transport the people in our care to and from school, grocery shopping and appointments.
• Assist in the implementation of programmes designed for the development of the client.
• Report writing.

Your Rewards

Rates for this role commence at SCHADS Level 2 Paypoint 1.
