We are currently seeking Hybrid Production Operator to join our team based at our Vacoas‑Phoenix studio here in Mauritius . Please be advised that this is a hybrid working role, with your time split between home working and our studio .

In this varied and pivotal role, in which you will be responsible for all aspects of creation and Quality Control of digital artworks for packaging requirements, ensuring technical specifications are applied to produce desired effects, and meet all print requirements and final approval.
Ideally, you will already possess experience of all aspects of graphics / print production, including exposure to the technical aspects of print, including pre‑press, and be eager to develop your career to the next level with a true global market leader.
In this role you will :
- Analyse clients’ needs and expectations, communicate the client’s needs and expectations to the relevant departments to ensure team can seamlessly meet and satisfy them.
- Create and QC digital artwork, following client and printer guidelines.
- Create separations, remapping of colors to proper separations, trapping, overprinting,
- knockouts, imposition, bleeding and / or color correction, which require making independent decisions regarding line screen and compensation curves using given parameters.
- Utilise knowledge and understanding of the pre‑press and printing capabilities of equipment, determines style, technique, and medium best suited to produce desired effects.
- Work closely with pre‑press and press department personnel to ensure that graphic designs can be produced on existing equipment.
- Discuss graphics at various stages of completion and makes changes as necessary to ensure designs meet printer requirements and approval.
- Develop Proof – preparing a preview of art for the customer illustrating how the final art product will appear.
- Complete Preflight activities – the process of reviewing digital files to insure the print readiness of the file.
- QC all work performed following the department’s SOPs. Check, sign‑off, and date checklists.
- Support to Develop and implement training programs to upgrade the skills of department associates, particularly those in entry‑level positions.
- Work with Quality Assurance to ensure that quality products are produced on a consistent basis.
- Support and determine staffing requirements weekly and re‑deploy resources during the week as needed to address any shifting manning needs or changes in priorities and scheduling.
