Overview
We invite you to join the friendly and dynamic Physiotherapy Team at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick. As a rotating Physiotherapist you will work across major clinical areas, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities. This role supports our vision of "exceptional care, healthier lives" and contributes to delivering high‑quality care for patients and clients in line with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality Physiotherapy care to patients / clients of The Prince of Wales Hospital consistent with SESLHD policies, procedures and standards.
- Provide person‑centred care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in a range of quality activities, teaching, leadership and supervision, as required.
- Respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
- Work across a variety of rotations, including weekend work, to meet clinical needs.
Qualifications & Selection Criteria
Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and the Physiotherapy Board of Australia; and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.Demonstrated core competency skills in Physiotherapy.High level written, verbal and interpersonal skills to engage patients / clients and work effectively with the multidisciplinary team.Ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence‑based practice, commensurate with years of experience.Commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.Participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.Ability to manage time effectively under pressure.Willingness to work across rotations, including weekend work.Benefits
