Overview
The Role
The Aquatics Services Coordinator is responsible for the management and operation of the centre's Swim schools programs. They are accountable for managing the financial performance of the program in order to achieve the goals and targets as set out in the annual business plan for the program.
This role will lead the Swim Teachers to ensure the delivery of aquatic education to school groups to the highest standard possible. This is a Full-Time position.
About You
You will have a passion for swimming and the progression of students. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun, with a flair for working with children. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure school group bookings gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from the services provided. You will build positive working relationships with all the schools in the catchment area who currently direct students to the centre and foster new relationships with those that don’t currently direct students to the centre.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
Essential Criteria
The Site
Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre (TRAC) is a large, year round facility that includes an indoor 25 meter lap pool, hydrotherapy pool, warm water pool, fun pool with water slide, toddlers pool, sauna, steam room, spa, gym, group exercise, multi-purpose sports court, occasional childcare and function room hire.
We also have an outdoor water park with great activities for the kids complete with BBQ facilities.
