This is a 12 month fixed term, full‑time position commencing Term 1, 2026, with possible extension and / or permanency. Southern River College (SRC) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Program Coordinator – Vocational Education and Training (VET) committed to achieving outstanding educational outcomes for all students in our culturally diverse school at SRC.

Our Inspire programmes in Lower School enable students to follow their passion with Inspire Academic, Netball, Music, Soccer and Volleyball programmes. The Role
SRC is seeking someone who has an excellent understanding of VET in the secondary school context and the capacity to maintain and establish partnerships with TAFE, RTOs, business and other organisations to provide opportunities for students.
In collaboration with the Principal and administrative team, the successful applicant will provide educational leadership by developing and promoting the college vision and encouraging staff ownership. The focus will be on vocational training, workplace learning and transition beyond secondary schooling. You will lead a team including the Career Practitioner, Workplace Learning Officer and office staff, and oversee the Engagement Programme. Leadership innovation and opportunities to grow the vocational pathways within the City of Gosnells are key aspects.
The ideal candidate brings passion for student achievement, strong interpersonal skills, innovative thinking and the ability to work fast‑paced, and can demonstrate partnerships with students, stakeholders and staff in VET, secondary pathways and post‑school destinations. A high emphasis on parent partnership and regularly communicating with parents is required. Highly organised, solution focused and enthusiastic about contributing to the whole school community is essential.
