About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in 2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional centre in Australia. Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast—6 hours from Sydney, 3.5 hours from Brisbane—the region offers rainforests, headlands, sand dunes, pristine beaches, and a vibrant multicultural lifestyle.
At Clarence, our three modern health centres deliver patient-centered care to approximately 1,700 male and female inmates. You will provide primary care, chronic disease management, and health education, empowering patients to take an active role in their wellbeing while working collaboratively with correctional staff to deliver holistic, culturally sensitive care .
Role – Registered Nurse (Chronic Disease)
As a Registered Nurse – Chronic Disease, you will identify, manage, and support patients with chronic conditions, conduct assessments, develop care plans, coordinate referrals, and deliver health education. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based and culturally appropriate care.
