NEW GRADUATE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST — Rural Health Team | Scone, NSW. Full-time, part-time or casual with a flexible start from September 2025 to February 2026.
Responsibilities
This role is designed to give new graduates exposure to a broad range of clients and settings – helping you discover which areas of practice you’re most passionate about. You’ll work with clients in their homes, schools, the community, nursing homes, etc., with the chance to focus your caseload as your interests develop.
Collaborate with schools and families; complete assessments; implement therapy plans; and have opportunities to run innovative group programs and community initiatives.
Be supported by clinicians with 10+ years’ experience, external supervision, admin assistance, and a tailored support approach to help you build your skills and confidence.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be supported to foster and grow your interests from day one, with guidance from experienced clinicians to help you find your best fit in the field of occupational therapy.
About the Caseload
We can offer a mixed caseload or tailor your role to suit your interests as you grow. If you already know your passion—whether that’s early childhood, adult rehab, Assistive Technology, home modifications, mental health, or aged care—we’ll foster that specialization and help you develop deep expertise in your chosen area.
Our clinicians work across all ages and funding bodies.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you’re :
A soon-to-be or current Occupational Therapist (AHPRA registration required or pending)
Friendly, compassionate and eager to learn
