Seeking an Executive Level 1 - Assistant Director - Security Operations to support The Physical Security Section responsible for providing assurance to the Chief Security Officer that security risks are managed effectively, and that security arrangements align with the requirements of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

The section is also responsible for providing high quality security advisory services to the department and the broader portfolio Australia wide. The department has recently stood up a Security Branch which includes a greater focus on uplifting security arrangements. This role represents an exciting opportunity to contribute and support the ongoing efforts to building organisational capability and a positive security culture.
