Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join our collaborative and dynamic team based at our Kilsyth site in the Eastern suburbs.

The role

The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for creating, maintaining, and analysing accurate demand forecasts and supply plans. This role ensures the timely availability of products while optimising inventory levels and supports the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for key items such as Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Targets, Order replenishment and Data integrity issues. The role also requires weekly factory planning activities to ensure production plans align with demand and resource availability.

Daily Operational & Production Planning

  • Review daily sales orders and forecasts to detect demand shifts.
  • Align production plans with available capacity, machine status, and inbound shipments.

Factory Scheduling & Performance Monitoring

  • Develop and maintain weekly factory production schedules.
  • Monitor short-term performance metrics (OTIF, capacity utilisation, schedule adherence) and adjust plans as needed.
  • Support rolling 12-month demand forecasts using sales trends and stakeholder input.
  • Generate replenishment plans for raw materials and finished goods using BOMs and MRP systems.
  • Inventory Management & Supply Chain Optimisation

  • Ensure inventory levels align with safety stock policies and planning parameters.
  • Analyse key metrics (forecast accuracy, stock turns, fill rates) and identify improvement opportunities.
  • S&OP Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Prepare S&OP reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, production, and sales teams to incorporate business events into planning.
  • Reschedule orders due to machine breakdowns, material delays, or demand changes.
  • Escalate and resolve supply disruptions proactively.
  • System & Data Integrity

  • Maintain accurate planning attributes in ERP and planning systems.
  • Support master data integrity for planning and scheduling.
  • About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years in demand and / or supply planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP (e.g., JDE), MRP, and demand planning tools (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan)
  • Experience using Relex forecasting and replenishment software or similar advanced planning tools
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements
  • Solid understanding of inventory, forecasting, and production planning principles
