Join Our Contaminated Land Team in Sydney We’re looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist to support and lead the delivery of contaminated land and broader environmental projects in NSW and nationally. This role is perfect for someone with 7-10 years experience who wants more ownership, variety, and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work on challenging and rewarding projects across Australia, Asia-Pacific, Canada and the United States that contribute to better environmental outcomes
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and senior staff
  • Leading delivery of PSIs, DSIs, RAPs for complex urban renewal, precinct level design and remediation projects
  • Overseeing complex fieldwork tasks, including soil, groundwater, surface water and vapour sampling
  • Preparing technical reports and client deliverables
  • Leading proposal preparation and project costing
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and regulators

What You’ll Need

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related discipline
  • 7-10 years’ consulting experience in contaminated land
  • Industry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue this
  • Solid understanding of NSW and national environmental frameworks (NEPM, NEMP, etc.)
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Confidence in the field, with an eye for detail and technical excellence
  • A team-first attitude and a proactive mindset
  • Willingness to learn from others at all career levels
  • Desire to ask questions and think critically about technical matters
  • Interest in developing your career
