Join Our Contaminated Land Team in Sydney We’re looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist to support and lead the delivery of contaminated land and broader environmental projects in NSW and nationally. This role is perfect for someone with 7-10 years experience who wants more ownership, variety, and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work on challenging and rewarding projects across Australia, Asia-Pacific, Canada and the United States that contribute to better environmental outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and senior staff
- Leading delivery of PSIs, DSIs, RAPs for complex urban renewal, precinct level design and remediation projects
- Overseeing complex fieldwork tasks, including soil, groundwater, surface water and vapour sampling
- Preparing technical reports and client deliverables
- Leading proposal preparation and project costing
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and regulators
What You’ll Need
Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related discipline7-10 years’ consulting experience in contaminated landIndustry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue thisSolid understanding of NSW and national environmental frameworks (NEPM, NEMP, etc.)Strong communication and technical writing skillsConfidence in the field, with an eye for detail and technical excellenceA team-first attitude and a proactive mindsetWillingness to learn from others at all career levelsDesire to ask questions and think critically about technical mattersInterest in developing your careerWhat’s In It For You
