Where you'll be working : Ryde Hospital – Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department
What You'll Be Doing : The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) serves as an expert clinical leader responsible for advancing nursing practice and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care within the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Department.
The CNC provides specialist consultancy, guidance, and leadership to nursing staff, supporting clinical decision-making and fostering professional development through education, mentorship, and research.
The CNC collaborates with Nurse Unit Managers and the Director of Intensive Care and Emergency to develop, implement, and evaluate policies, clinical pathways, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes. By integrating clinical expertise with innovation and research, the CNC plays a pivotal role in shaping best‑practice standards, promoting workforce capability, and driving excellence in patient‑centred care.
