The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Crew Leader / Leading Hand to join our field crews working across Western Melbourne. In this role you’ll lead a small on-site team and play a key part in delivering essential civil works across the water infrastructure space. This is a permanent full-time role with the chance to build your skills, and the opportunity to develop your career in the water industry.

Responsibilities include :

• General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
• Installation of new water pipelines, new customer connections and backfilling
• Operating state-of-the-art plant & equipment
• Leading a small team of 1-3 crew members

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
