Overview

Eightcap is an Australian online financial trading company that specialises in forex and CFD trading, offering over 250 tradable instruments to retail clients. The company is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia with offices in the UK, Cyprus, Guatemala, Philippines, Bahamas, and Bulgaria.

Rapid growth has led Eightcap to look for a Sales Manager to join the team. The China Desk team collaborates to provide a strong knowledge base of the company and the broader financial services industry.

Purpose of the Position

Account manager will be responsible for serving clients, providing ongoing support and value throughout the client journey. Convert warm leads to new clients to increase our active trading account pool. Be the first point of contact for new clients, providing all-rounded professional service. This includes answering general inquiries via multiple channels, using versatile selling skills for net funding, promoting products and services, liaising with all departments to resolve issues, and maintaining high levels of account management and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional services to customers through all dealings.
  • Providing all relevant information to ensure the client onboarding process runs smoothly.
  • Answering clients’ inquiries by multiple communication channels.
  • Converting warm leads to new clients.
  • Using soft selling, upselling, and cross-selling skills for daily sales activities.
  • Providing general advice for assisting clients’ trading activities.
  • Liaising with all departments to resolve issues.
  • Maintaining a high level of account management and strong relationships with clients.
  • Work towards specific KPIs to meet the sales targets.

Selection criteria

Essential

  • Mandarin and English language proficiency (Cantonese will be advantageous).
  • CFD / FX industry experience (including internship) preferred.
  • Previous exposure to client-facing environments (sales, customer services, inbound / outbound support) is a must.
  • Phone sales experience will be advantageous.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and confident attributes.
  • Strong passion for the financial markets and trading industry.
  • Fast learner and eager to learn new knowledge.
  • Comfortable making high quantities of outbound calls daily.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work towards specific KPIs to meet sales targets.
  • Ability to work individually and with a teamwork spirit.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, typing speed).
  • Previous trading and investing experience will be advantageous.
  • Desired

  • Prior experience in the online trading environment will be viewed favourably.
  • Educational background in Economics or Finance will be advantageous.
  • Experience in a call center environment is an advantage.
