Operations Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Manager to join one of our key Defence suppliers leading a team of technicians and operational personnel.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our site runs as smooth as possible and leading the team for accountability, support and training.

As this is a high paced environment, those with a hands-on attitude and approach to work and support will thrive within this workplace.

Those with previous Management or Maritime Operations management experience, ideally ex-defence, are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Support in the general running and upkeep of our site.

Raise suggestions to improve our products and processes.

Manage team operations, maintenance planning and performance outcomes.

Training and delivery, systems upkeep and customer management.

Stakeholder engagement, project delivery and drive key maintenance outcomes.

Develop long-term partners with preferred suppliers, new and existing

Lead compliance for quality assurance and product servicing and deployability

Write up reports following the inspection and tests, submit to the admin team for processing.

Experience, qualifications and skills

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to run a small to medium team with a technical background.

Strong leadership and team support approach.

Appetite to deliver work schedule and prioritise customer support and requirements.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Willing to travel as and when required.

Experience working within an operations or maritime environment ideally supporting product delivery and upkeep.
