We’ve built a new AI‑powered platform called BuddyBee that will change the way real estate works. To keep building BuddyBee, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who’s ready to tackle complex technical challenges and bring cutting‑edge LLM technology into production.

Base pay range

A$160,000.00 / yr – A$180,000.00 / yr

Role Overview

You’ll join a hybrid team in Brisbane and work on systems that support thousands of users. The role is full‑time and offers competitive salary, benefits and the chance to work on technology that genuinely transforms an industry.

Responsibilities

• Shape architecture : Design systems that anticipate future needs, not just present ones.
• Integrate AI at scale : Build serverless services that embed intelligence into the core platform.
• Solve hard problems : From migrations to performance tuning, you’ll be the go‑to engineer when stakes are high.
• Influence direction : Collaborate across teams, drive reuse and set standards that lift the entire engineering function.

Required Skills

Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL and modern cloud environments.

Curiosity to explore AI is essential; experience with LangChain, LangGraph or LLM APIs is a plus.
