Commercial HVAC business with over 40 years in the industry. They require an Ops manager in a newly created role due to growth.
Responsibilities
- As Operations Manager, oversee the smooth delivery of both service and minor works projects (up to $500k).
- Prepare and submit pricing and proposals for minor works projects (up to $500k).
- Act as the main point of contact for service clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide technical support to a small team of technicians, assisting with troubleshooting.
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation across service and projects.
- Monitor budgets, compliance, and performance to ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec.
- Support the Managing Director with reporting, forecasting, and business improvements.
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
About You / Qualifications
Trade or tertiary qualification in Mechanical / HVAC or Building Services (preferred).3–5+ years’ experience in HVAC service or project management.Technical expertise across mechanical systems such as chillers, boilers, VAV, PAC, VRF, and BMS.Demonstrated success pricing and delivering minor works projects up to $500k.Proven ability to support and lead a team of technicians.Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and industry best practice.What’s on Offer
