Job descriptionHigh school certificate or equivalent, or one to three months related experience and / or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop Hold a current national Manual \'C\' class driver\'s license Previous mechanical experience Be home every night with a balanced, family-friendly work schedule 5 weeks annual leave to support work-life balance PPE provided & laundered on-site Spacious, air-conditioned workshop with modern tools & equipment Attractive salary & remuneration package Free on-site parking & discounted canteen Employee Assistance Program & staff discounts
Overview
Join Harvey Beef, Western Australia\'s leading meat processing company, as a Trade Assistant in a high-performing Maintenance & Reliability team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will support the Fitter\'s, assist in repairs and maintenance of Harvey Beef Plant, and help keep the workshop and equipment safe, clean and well-maintained at our state-of-the-art facility in Harvey, WA. Working in a rotating day / night roster .
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Fitter\'s in repairing plant equipment
- Assist Fitter\'s in servicing plant equipment
- Lubricate all plant equipment including hand tools
- Clean workshop area and tools
- Perform other routine duties as required
