The Royal Flying Doctor Service is an organisation that requires little introduction, having a rich history spanning across 95 years. Voted Australia’s most trusted charity, the Australian medical icon has moved into medical services establishing clinics in Warren and Gilgandra in December 2022 and will establish a practice in Condobolin in early 2024 which will offer medical appointments, preventative health and screening, and chronic disease management. The Gilgandra Medical Centre has been serving the Community for over 30 years. Our Principal GP was named Royal Australian College of General Practitioners' GP of the year. Gilgandra is an AGPAL accredited practice that also hosts registrars and has a regular women’s health nurse.Our team prides itself on providing a high level of patient care – our practice is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and offers health care services including primary health, early intervention and prevention, health information and screening, and chronic disease management.RFDS Medical ServicesRFDS Medical Services has three locations and an attractive package for General Practitioners to work in our region and engage in a unique locum opportunity with RFDS Medical Services - where the Australian Outback's tranquillity meets the rewarding realm of rural healthcare.You have the choice : Trial a short-term locum or provide ongoing medical services and become a valued member of this health service with RFDS.Permanent Full time, part time, casual.FIFO, DIDO or live in community.Embrace the vibrant community spirit whilst making an impact that resonates far beyond the clinic doors.
