Our client is a fast growing IT Solutions business looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for capturing new clients and nurturing and growing existing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new education clients for hardware and IT solutions.
- Maintain strong market knowledge to identify business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Manage and retain relationships with existing clients.
- Understand in-depth business products and value propositions.
- Write business proposals, respond to tenders, and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients.
- Develop growth strategies and plans focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Design IT solutions to meet specific customer requirements, including cloud and mobile device management.
- Prepare quotes and proposals, and manage sales pipelines.
Performance Measures
Achievement of sales targets by product and market segment.Customer visits and satisfaction ratings (Net Promoter Score).Accuracy and timeliness of CRM entries.Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience in sales as a BDM or account managerExperience in selling into Education or Government will be highly regardedStrong understanding of IT products and the ability to create customer-specific solutions.Experience in high-level negotiations and sales of IT solutions such as VMWare, Microsoft cloud services, and MDM.Excellent communication, customer support, time management, and planning skills.Ability to manage conflicts constructively and motivate teams.Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Seniority level
