This is a part-time (0.4FTE / 2 days per week) permanent role.The role is school-based rather than Early Years Learning Framework based with 8am to 4pm working hours. The work days are Thursdays and Fridays during term time only.The successful candidate will : Tertiary Qualification in Early Childhood EducationExperience with 3 and 4-year-old childrenUnderstanding of Reggio Emilia philosophyConfidence with curriculum design and documentationCurrent accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Recognise the value and uniqueness of each individual within the College communityExhibit professional and personal integrityBe flexible and open to changeBe proactive and innovativePossess strong interpersonal communication skills and experience working in teamsExperience in developing Reggio reflective classroom pedagogies and practiceStrong administrative skills with the ability to manage workflow effectivelyWe offer outstanding opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment, and new experiences.Candidates must demonstrate a positive support for the Christian values of a Presbyterian GPS School.All applicants must have a current NSW Working with Children Clearance.
