About The Restructuring And Insolvency Team

Our award‑winning restructuring and insolvency team is dynamic and valued for its pragmatic, commercial and partner‑led service.

We advise funds, banks, borrowers, investors and directors, as well as many leading insolvency practitioners, on all types of distressed transactions and special situations – including before and after formal insolvency administrations. We have extensive experience in both contentious and non‑contentious restructuring and insolvency work. In addition to front‑end matters, we advise and act in disputes and applications arising in restructures and workouts, voluntary administrations, liquidations and receiverships.

About You

You will be joining a team that works on some of the most complex restructuring and insolvency matters in Australia. To succeed, you should have a strong interest in challenging work and the confidence to take ownership early in your career.

Requirements

  • two to three years’ post‑qualification experience (PQE) in restructuring and insolvency, or a strong interest in developing in this area
  • excellent drafting and advice writing skills
  • strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • the confidence to engage directly with clients
  • the ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
